This is a small application that will move your mouse cursor every 2 seconds whenever mouse inactivity is detected, it will simply ‘hunt’ the cursor like an insect would move around to find its optimal position.
The application is very easy to setup and set up (just copy and paste the configuration file to the application directory and start the application).
Please note that the settings in MouseTwitcher are very permissive. So if you have any special settings that your mouse does not like, be sure to configure those in the configuration file.
MouseTwitcher Features:
MouseTwitcher can be configured to move the mouse in one of four different frequencies. But also with the option to move the mouse differently than the rest of the desktop. There are two options for this.
You can have the mouse twitcher use the color and text of the desktop (as normally all the desktop does) or you can have it use the color and text of the mouse.
MouseTwitcher can be configured to use one of the following:
Inactivity settings
On mouse inactivity the mouse twitcher should move the mouse to a point between 100 and 500 pixels from where the mouse pointer is.
Options for MouseTwitcher
The MouseTwitcher application has the following options:
Update Frequency
Click the Update frequency menu at the top to select the update frequency of the mouse cursor. The default is 1-10sec.
Delay
The delay of the mouse twitcher when the inactivity timer is triggered. The default delay is 0.5sec. If this is set to 0, the mouse twitcher will move to the most appropriate position every time the inactivity timer is triggered. The delay can be set in seconds.
Target Screen
The screen to which the mouse twitcher should move. If you set this to ‘None’ it will use the first screen on the desktop to execute the mouse twitcher. If you set this to ‘All Desktops’ it will move to the first screen on all desktops.
This should only be used for special configurations. By default it will use the first screen on the desktop.
Target Desktop
The desktop screen where the mouse twitcher should move to. There can be multiple screens on a desktop. To have the mouse twitcher move to all desktops set this to ‘All Desktops’.
Target Text
The text color on the desktops to which the mouse twitcher will move. This should only be used for special configurations.
