In my playlists, I have mp3s, regular videos, and the best audio books. I also had a portion of my media library and playlists put onto a previous hard drive. With over 3000 users registered, theres plenty of knowledgeable users and, if youre not able to find the answer in the forum, use the built-in support chat. Ive never had a problem with support, and this is the kind of issues where support is very important.

Are you crazy. Have you seen the stats on PotPlayer? Its crazy thats what its called even if you might not want to call a player PotPlayer. Sorry I am not going to take that because people want things to be fun but sometimes I get tired of having to explain things to people to what was reviewed there. I tested the team at PotPlayer and they know what they are doing and they care. Its not going to be a plugin for people who dont care. Sorry.
With the current free version of PotPlayer a popup ad window randomly appeared in the bottom right corner of the player screen. The program uses plugins and my AV program flagged them as a risk. PotPlayer is VERY likely spyware.
You just cannot trust the plugin for potplayer. I have installed it and deleted it many times. there were too many security warnings from my antivirus and i did not want to play around with false security warnings. i looked for something else as well. sorry, just a warning for you.
Good thing i read the review on PotPlayer, because from when i installed it, it was perfectly fine. I actually tested it because i had tried a lot of video players and switched to PotPlayer before, and it worked great as you said, with no ads. So i deleted the ad plugins and the programs works fine. I agree with you. It didnt auto update and there are no ads. I can continue to use PotPlayer even with its error. If it is a paid version without an advertisement, i will pay for it. Thank you
Yes, but there are all kinds of misconceptions about what an ad is and how it works. You may not like them being there, but the idea that PotPlayer has “ads” is not true. Ads are pre-rolled, top-banner ads, which are part of the hosting account, and the PotPlayer developers are in no way involved with how they are displayed. The ads are clearly marked as such and removable as they can be in some players. There are no actual downloads from PotPlayer itself and it downloads nothing additional or extraneous.
