The company “A Piece of Memory” was founded in 2001, then Metronix Lab was established in 2003.
In the original work of Metronix Lab the action game “A Piece of Memory” was released in 2003.
“A Piece of Memory 2” started in 2015, and the development of the game has been continued for 5 years.

    Familiar Faces? –

    Members and friends of the Brighton Community Media Collective gathered for a fun and interesting evening looking at familiar faces and one of our compositions, ‘The day we left Liverpool’, and new faces on stage and in audience.

    Some of the people concerned were too old to be ‘local’. Some from the Liverpool scene we thought we’d never see again. Many were delighted to be back, sometimes from 60 years ago!

    Lynda Turner, Brighton Pagan Community Media Collective, brought with her her collaboration, ‘Many ways of viewing Brighton Isle’, an art project developed with Kati Shlemos based on interviews with the community.

    Transportation was provided to and from the venue by 981. A full house came together at the inverness venue, The De La Warr Pavilion, and we were there with a vintage film camera!

    The session was recorded with an experienced recording engineer who had been involved since the beginning of the Brighton Community Media Collective. In December 2016 the multi-media installation ‘The Eagles Nest’ opened for the Brighton Explorer’s Guild Christmas party and party safe in the knowledge that the recording will be available for printing.Neurobiological aspects of the carbachol-induced alcohol intake model in rats.

    The expressions of urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) and its inhibitor, type I (PAI-1), were examined in cultured human laryngeal carcinoma cells and tumor tissues using immunocytochemistry, ELISA, and Western blot analyses. Eight cultured cell lines were derived from the original 11 human laryngeal carcinomas. The cell lines, including well differentiated squamous cell carcinomas (SL-1 to SL-5), moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinomas (PL-3, PL-5, and PL-6), and poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinomas (PL-4, PL-7, and PL-8), were examined in the present study. These carcinoma cell lines did not demonstrate increased uPA activity by their invasion potential in plasminogen-depleted medium. The cell lines were also examined in invasion potential to matrigel in the presence of plasminogen. The cell line PL-3 was strongly invasive, with greater invasion than the cell lines PL-4, PL-5, PL-6, PL-7, and PL-8. In immunocytochemical analyses of the cultured cell lines, all 8 cultured cell lines were positive for PAI-1, but uPA expression was identified only in the well-differentiated squamous cell carcinomas, SL-1 to SL-5, and poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinomas, PL-4, PL-7, and PL-8. These carcinoma cell lines were also positive for PAI-1 but negative for uPA. In Western blot analysis, uPA and PAI-1 expressions were identified in the serum-free culture medium. uPA in the culture medium was increased by lipopolysaccharide stimulation. In the 10 cases of the primary laryngeal carcinomas, positive staining was observed for uPA and PAI-1 in the cytoplasm of the tumor cells and peritumoral reactive fibroblasts. These results suggest that uPA synthesis is regulated in both tumor
